Hello all Thai language learners, I am a native Thai speaker from the southern region of Thailand. I am currently a civil engineering student at a university in the US. I love learning languages to explore new cultures, people, and places. I am fluent in both Thai and English. I am learning Chinese(Mandarin), Spanish, and Vietnamese, and have a certain knowledge of pronunciation. I would like to help people in the iTalki community who are interested in learning Thai to have a chance to practice with a native Thai speaker and improve their Thai language skills.

I have learned new languages and struggled a lot from not being able to speak and use them fluently. However, at the same time, I have discovered many effective methods that I utilize to help me improve my language skills. I will encourage you to speak and will promptly correct the mistake and help you fix it. I will be patient and allow you time to express yourself. If you have a preferred method of learning, please let me know so I can prepare my material before the lesson.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons will be adaptive according to your needs. I will give you time to express what is on your mind before correcting you if necessary. I will challenge you to make up a new sentence with the pattern we just mention. I will explain to you with patience, and you can ask me any question about the Thai language and Thailand in general.
For those people who are familiar with the Thai writing system, I will regularly use the Thai writing system to communicate with you during the lesson. I can also set out some time in the lesson for reading practice to help you improve your reading skills.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

If you're multilingual / a polyglot or hoping to be one, I highly recommend Don. Don has an understanding on tones across several Asian languages, an understanding of the history of languages in SE Asia, such as some of the Sanskrit origins etc. - if learning a language with the help of another language is your way of learning then I highly recommend Kru Don!

I've taken a few lessons with Don now. He's a really friendly, knowledgeable and patient teacher. I'm pretty beginner at learning Thai but he does a great job of keeping the conversation going in Thai, explaining things that I'm struggling with and answering any questions I have along the way. Whatever your skill level is I'd recommend taking lessons with Don.

Another great speaking practice lesson with Kru Don. He is very good at pitching the level of Thai he uses to make it sufficiently stretching for the student, but without becoming too difficult. He is also very good at explaining things clearly and in keeping the conversation going well. Really enjoyed my lesson and look forward to another lesson soon.

Loved my first lesson with Kru Don. I asked for speaking practice and he gave me the confidence and encouragement to have a great speaking practice lesson. He came across as a great communicator - very clear and intelligent. I enjoyed chatting with him and look forward to my next lesson.
