Hello! I am Morris and I live in The Hague. I was born in Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands.
For the majority of my life I have been passionate about languages and learning languages.
I speak Dutch, English and Spanish.
I have experience with 1 on 1 teaching to students and I enjoy using my knowledge of language to help other people learn.

Durante la mayor parte de mi vida me han apasionado los idiomas y el aprendizaje de idiomas.
Hablo holandés, inglés y español.

Having a good conversational partner is one of the things that really enables you to learn and speak a new language.
That is why I offer students a safe space for them to speak and play around with the language.
I also like to keep the lessons fun and lighthearted, because the more fun you have speaking a language, the faster you will learn.
Tener un buen compañero de conversación es una de las cosas que más te hace posible aprender un idioma.
Por eso ofrezco a los estudiantes un espacio seguro para que hablen y jueguen con el idioma.

I will apply a personalized method suitable to your level and preference. In our first lesson we will get to know each other and I will develop a strategy based on what we think will work the best for you. This can be conversational practice, listening practice, reading together, or explanation on pronounciation, vocabulary and grammar.

En nuestra primera lección nos conoceremos y desarrollaré una estrategia basada en lo que creemos que funcionará mejor para usted. Morris was an amazing teacher when we first "met" and he still is. Very knowledgeable about the Dutch language and he clearly loves his mother tongue. He is very patient, explains well, gives relevant examples and checks understanding. His lessons are pure pleasure!

Morris is THE teacher par excellence. He is not my first teacher but he stands head and shoulders above many of the teachers I have had and especially here on italki there is none better. He is my third if not fourth Dutch teacher. He knows Dutch and is always very well prepared using very clear material. He explains the subject very well and has good exercises at the ready to check my understanding. I cannot praise him enough. He is a star.

I have already recommended Morris to my friends and colleagues. He has a superb command of the Dutch language and great skill explaining grammar, syntax, ,synonyms and different usage of prepositions and tenses. A five star teacher.
