This is Hanane El Harbili, I teach Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Moroccan Arabic (Darija). With over five years of teaching experience on italki, I can help you move step by step with a clear plan and lots of support.
I work with students from all over the world, including the USA, UK, France, Russia, and Spain.
Many of my students are learning Moroccan Arabic because they have a Moroccan partner and want to better connect through language and culture.
I provide a full cultural experience. If you’re looking for a supportive teacher who can help you speak Arabic or Darija with confidence, I’d love to work with you!عني كمعلّم
I hold a BA in English Studies with a specialization in Linguistics and a TEFL certificate and a Diploma in Teaching Arabic. I teach Arabic and Moroccan Arabic (Darija) to students of all ages and levels around the world. I place strong emphasis on speaking, as it builds confidence and keeps students engaged. My lessons include exercises, articles, and discussions using videos, audio, and interactive dialogues. I also offer unique conversational topics that enhance fluency and cultural understanding. Need urgent help? I'm available 6 days a week and keep extra hours open for emergencies or last-minute lessons. I'm passionate about teaching and always explore modern methods to keep classes engaging and effective. I use TPR (Total Physical Response) with kids to help them learn through movement and fun interaction. In our lessons, we’ll focus on grammar, vocabulary, and expressions, followed by integrated homework (listening, reading, writing). I have been taking Darija lessons with Hanane for a few weeks in preparation for a trip to Morocco. Hanane has taught me so much in such a short time, and made sure I was able to practice what I learned so I won't forget. She's friendly, engaged, knowledgeable, and well-prepared.
