My name is Giovanni and I was born in Turin in the north of Italy. I have lived abroad for many years. Way back in 1994 I went to live in Dublin in Ireland where I worked and studied for 6 years and then moved to Wales in the United Kingdom to study for the Bachelor of Arts in Documentary Photography. I lived in the U.K. and Ireland for about 12 years. In 2006 I moved to Bangkok in Thailand to teach English for a private language school and later on I found work at the Italian Academy of Fashion and Design as a teacher of Italian, English and photography. I also taught Italian at the first University of Thailand in Bangkok called Chulalongkorn. Now I live in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.عني كمعلّم
In 2005 after obtaining my Bachelor Degree from the University of Newport I studied at the University of Cardiff and achieved the PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) which is the necessary qualification in the United Kingdom to be able to be a teacher. In 2006 I moved to Bangkok in Thailand to teach English and Italian. I am a teacher who likes to be flexible, given the many years spent in different countries I am able to understand students from different cultures. My lessons are always targeted at each individual. I am a teacher full of enthusiasm and with many years of experience. I always encourage students to ask questions. I am very friendly and approachable.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I always prepare lessons by using detailed lesson plans and activities. I always make sure that my lessons begin with an introduction and then I always focus on a particular topic on which students can then expand on with their ideas. In addition to the lesson plans, I utilize other teaching materials for interactive conversation and for written and listening tasks. In my opinion it is very important to entertain the student and that is why I am very flexible in my lessons. I am very open minded and I managed to achieve this by living abroad and teaching students from different countries.

Giovanni helped me with refining the key vocabulary and grammar for my oral exam, and allowed me to practice by asking me questions relevant to the topics, so I could practice. We also reviewed upcoming study aims, as we frequently do.

Oggi abbiamo avuto una lezione emozionante! We looked at a homework that included pictures from my weekend, and Giovanni even shared some pictures for his life! This type of studying is fun because it gives great examples of typical conversations, and it makes me feel like Giovanni is a great friend instead of a teacher. Grazie Giovanni- a domani!
