Greetings. I am Tom, a nationally registered Japanese language teacher from Japan. With over 15 years of professional experience spanning both the IT sector and educational institutions, I specialize in teaching practical Japanese with a wide range of knowledge in grammar and Japanese culture.

My interests :
Studying Japanese history, reading both Japanese and world literature, visiting shrines and temples (collecting Goshuin stamps in booklet), playing guitar (flamenco), watching animes, running, travel, and learning foreign languages, etc.عني كمعلّم
I have taught students from different countries for more than 4,000 lessons on italki as well as one-on-one lessons for business persons working in Japan. My teaching philosophy centers on helping students consolidate solid foundations and improving your Japanese skills in a way that aligns as closely as possible with your interests. Through consultation, I suggest a suitable textbook to tailor to individual goals, considering each student's learning style.

If you want me to point out areas for improvement, this is the place for you. I am a coach who wants to help students improve their Japanese. I will point out grammatical errors and pronunciation as necessary.
We use Google Meet in lessons (G-mail account is required).
Also we can share Google Doc to take notes for corrections about grammar or words.

Tom先生は、とても理想的な教え方をされる先生だと思います。最初のレッスンで記事をまとめようとしたときは、言いたいことがなかなか出てきませんでした。ですが、レッスンを重ねる中で、Tom先生が毎回細かく改善点を指摘してくださり、とても助かりました。
