In my classes I offer natural, friendly conversations — just like chatting with a close friend. While we talk, you’ll pick up everyday expressions, slang, and the way people really speak. My goal is to help you feel confident, relaxed, and ready to reach your language goals!
My background:
-Degree in Portuguese and Japanese from the State University of Rio de Janeiro
-Specialization in Teaching Portuguese as a Second Language
-One year living in Europe on an exchange program to improve my English..
A little about me:
I’m a digital nomad with both online and in-person businesses, but teaching is my true passion. My travels through Thailand, Morocco, Europe, and beyond bring fresh perspectivعني كمعلّم
Bachelor’s degree in Portuguese and Japanese from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, one of Brazil’s top universities. While I was at university, I was part of a Portuguese teaching project for Japanese exchange students from the University of Tokyo.
Postgraduate specialization in Brazilian Literature and Culture, with a focus on teaching Portuguese to non-native speakers.
Certified in a research program on Portuguese as a Second or Foreign Language.
Also trained as a flight attendant, with strong cross-cultural communication skills.

Camila always prepares a session ,according to the areas the student needs to improve. Makes the adjustments and corrections in a very positive way. Besides,she is a very enthusiastic and encouraging teacher . I truly recommend her.

I’m happy with my lessons with Camila! I started learning Portuguese after moving to Brazil, and thanks to her, I can already hold conversations. From the very first lesson, I felt comfortable speaking because she teaches with patience, corrects me gently, and pushes me to improve in a way that feels natural. Camila is a gifted conversationalist. She has such a warm and welcoming energy that I immediately felt completely at ease with her. At each session, we talk about topics that are sometimes deep, sometimes funny, but always meaningful. No one has given me more confidence to speak Portuguese than Camila!
