Hello, I'm Ali! I am from Syria, but now I live in Istanbul. I'm a professor of Arabic at Istanbul Aydın University for 10 years, and I am the Vice Dean of foreign languages at Istanbul Aydın University. I teach Arabic dialects, modern Arabic, and classical Arabic. I am also the editor-in-chief of Aydin Journal in Istanbul for Arabic Studies. I obtained a BA in Arabic from Al-Da’wah University in Libya and a BA in Energy Engineering from Damascus University; then, I obtained a master’s degree in teaching Arabic and a Ph.D. in Arabic. My mother tongue is Arabic, and I speak English and Turkish. I wrote a conversation series by teaching Arabic, which is a textbook in some Turkish universities.عني كمعلّم
I like to call the teacher in the field of language education a trainer. In my opinion, the teacher is a leader towards achieving the goal, and he is not a language lecturer, because the language needs practice and application of skills, and a successful teacher can manage the educational process to implement successful practical application and not describe the language and talk about it that is isolated from reality.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
The beginning of language learning needs a special understanding, as the student’s inability to speak eloquently in the language of the teacher does not mean his incompetence, but rather means that he needs a bridge that takes him to the other bank of the river, as he is proficient in his language and maybe other languages, but he needs to transfer proficiency to Arabic, and this important stage requires a very patient teacher, and this is what I trained on in my journey with teaching.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

The lessons with Ali are very exciting and highly helpful. He always prepares interesting und diversified texts and pictures and uses different learning methods. The lessons are always adapted to your individual state of learning. So you will always have a huge learning input and at the same time a lot of fun to discover the arabic language.
