Hellol everyone! This is Mahdi Birjandi, a Farsi (Persian) teacher on Italki. In the past the years, working as an interpreter & teacher of both Farsi & English connected me to people all around the globe. This is why I know the mutual gaps between Farsi & English.
I am into languages and it has become a part of my soul. currently I'm learning Turkish & Arabic and some day I will learn Chinese or Russian as one of my favorite languages. I think learning a language is a fun experience that that provides a lot of opportunities.عني كمعلّم
As an English/Persian interpreter and teacher, I came across many language learners who have difficulty speaking or hearing correctly. Fixing this problem is what I do!
In have helped many students to learn both languages (Persian/English). My main focus is upon conversation & fluency.

I will set lesson plans based on the demand of students, their learning styles, time, effort and energy. If the student don't want to learn Persian alphabet, I can Romanize for them. The materials I use are authentic. In each session, I'll hand in my pre-lesson notes, so the students will be familiar with the context. In the session, I may record their voice, so I can work on their accent. I will try to correct my students and give them hints. In most of my classes, I will share my desktop so the class is totally audio-visual. Finally based on the demand of the students, I can customize the lesson plan. If you're looking for fun, interactive lessons that leave you motivated to continue learning this beautiful language, I suggest you book a lesson with Mahdi. He is highly knowledgeable, always prepares good materials and is always willing to answer any questions you have.
His energy and enthusiasm for teaching the language is contagious and has helped me tremendously. His lessons have not been just a source of knowledge, but also of inspiration keep on putting in the effort to improve my language skills.

Mahdi is an extremely friendly and professional teacher that is passionate about teaching his native language. I have made a great deal of progress with my Farsi whilst working with him! I look forward to learning with Mahdi in future.

Mahdi is the ultimate professional. He wastes no time during his classes so you leave feeling like you covered a lot, and he is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to teach using the most effective methods. His English is perfect which is very useful, however he tries to use as little of it as possible and helps you come to conclusions via Farsi which I’ve found to be super helpful for recollection.
After the classes he even sends voice files, homework, transcripts and more from the class - this is not strictly a requirement on the platform and it adds a tonne of value.
Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying my learning with Mahdi, and I would highly recommend him!
