Hi, I’m John, a native English speaker from the United Kingdom. I work with adult learners (B1+ and above) who want to keep their English strong through real conversation.
I’m friendly, organised, and easy to talk to, and I enjoy thoughtful topics, humour, and practical language you can use in daily life and at work.

I work in a structured, organised way, with conversation at the centre of every lesson. I’ve taught over 1,800 lessons to more than 180 adult learners, many of them on a regular weekly basis over long periods of time.
My role is to help you speak more clearly and accurately, without harming your flow or confidence. I use discretion with correction: sometimes I correct in the moment, and sometimes I save notes and review key points at the end, depending on the learner and the situation.
Lessons are calm, purposeful, and adapted to your level and goals. I also use technology to support reflection and progress, but the human conversation always comes first. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are built around sustained conversation. You will spend most of the time speaking, developing ideas, and responding naturally, rather than answering short questions. I guide the conversation so it stays focused and useful, but it always feels relaxed.
Lessons have a clear structure, but they are flexible. Topics may come from shared themes, your interests, work situations, or everyday life. Over time, conversations connect from one lesson to the next.
Correction and feedback are handled with care. Sometimes I correct in the moment, and sometimes I review key points after the conversation. These lessons suit adult learners who want regular speaking practice and steady progress.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

I had a few lessons with John for my CAE Advanced preparation. I enjoyed his approach to the lesson organisation. Today we worked on inverion and other useful topics for the exam. John always pays attention about what I need to improve. If you need someone who helps you to feel confident and achieve your goals in English - taking classes with John is the best option. Looking forward to the following lessons.

John is one of a kind and second to none. Not only does he have a huge array of all the necessary materials to prepare you for an exam, but, most importantly, John is very patient and progress-focused. One who decides to study with him, will see the growth in English in no time.
Every lesson that I ever had with John was bursting with various vocabulary that benefited me both inside and outside the classroom. Hadn’t it been for John, I wouldn’t have even dreamt about passing CAE successfully. During our lessons we were mastering all the aspects of my future exam. John was always ready to answer tricky questions and provide support when I was panicking (and I was panicking a lot). Now I set a goal to take CPE, and I wasn't thinking long and hard about who I’d take this journey with.
If you are still considering whether to start lessons with John, don’t hesitate any longer. John is a marvelous teacher and he has a lot to give.

John is an excellent teacher. I have had a good experience learning English. He tries to encourage you to improve step by step, with a lot of patience, humor, and enthusiasm. He concentrates on correcting you when you speak and gives you support. I recommend his lessons because they are fun and of high quality.
