I am Wietske, 31 years old and currently living in Oslo, Norway. I grew up in the Netherlands (Friesland, the northern part), but later moved to Utrecht and to The Hague. Me learning Norwegian inspired me to also get involved as a community tutor for helping people to learn Frisian.
I am working full time and do iTalki on the side, so I have limited availability. If you are interested but cannot find a time that suits you, feel free to send me a message to see if there are other options.عني كمعلّم
I am a positive, relaxed, and flexible teacher, and I hope to make the experience of learning a new language mainly fun and motivating!دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons, and the used material, will depend on the individual I am teaching. We could practice reading (news) articles or just have 'daily' conversations. Mostly: I find it important that you feel comfortable practicing Frisian with me!موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

I've been waiting years for a Frisian teacher on Italki, so I'm so glad Wietske joined the site. I enjoyed chatting with her and she was extremely patient with my limited and rusty Frisian. Recommended to those who want to learn Frisian (and you really should!) Tankewol, oant sjen!

Wietske is a great teacher. It is only the first lesson but she is already helping me a lot. She is very precise, friendly and focused. I highly recommend her.

Finally we have an excellent Frisian teacher on Italki. She has materials ready including PowerPoint but she will also work with whatever method you prefer. She is a great teacher!
