Had a great lesson with Lesley! She was very kind and patient when I couldn't think of the right words to say and helpful with helping me find the right words. I have almost no experience speaking/writing even though I've been working on listening and reading comprehension for over 9 months so I was worried that would be a problem but she guided me through and it definitely improved my confidence in speaking seeing that she could understand most of what I was trying to say even if my grammar wasn't great :) Part of it was me being nervous but I also have a social anxiety disorder so this sort of thing can be particularly difficult for me, but she made sure I felt comfortable and knew how to guide the conversation so it never felt awkward for me. I didn't tell her I had an anxiety disorder, she just knew how to make the situation more comfortable. Thanks very much Lesley, I look forward to our next session!

During the lessons, we can talk about any topics with fun! I learn some useful phrases and expression everytime. Thanks to Lesley, I can talk in French more naturally with confidence.

Lesley is a very pleasant tutor whose style made it easy for me to do my best at speaking French according to my level. She was very good at providing gentle and encouraging feedback. I highly recommend her! P.S. She also speaks Spanish which gives her an added capacity to teach, for those of us who can manage that language as well!
