Hi, everyone! My name is Cherry, I'm from Guizhou, China. I am a Chinese literature student and studying for my master's degree now. I studied Teaching Chinese as a second language for 4 years and got my bachelor's degree in 2016. I am also a Chinese teaching vlogger on YouTube. Now I am living in Shanghai, I am a mandarin teacher here too.عني كمعلّم
1. I went to Cambodia to be a Chinese teacher in 2016 and 2017. I worked as a Chinese teacher in a Chinese school, I taught speaking and listening, then I gradually realized that I still needed more things in teaching, so I went back to university to study for a master's degree now.
2. I am learned modern and contemporary Chinese literature, so I am also familiar with Chinese literature, history, and philosophy, I can also help you with these if you need.
3. I lived in Shanghai, I worked for a mandarin school, I taught HSK1235 and conversation class.

I love teaching languages, making videos and photography. I'd like to give professional language lessons such as speaking, listening, and writing. I also can provide course audios or videos after class. If your language level is high, we will talk about some topics, like society, history or our life. I will write down the points you don't know and always repeat them to make you remember. I am friendly, engaging, and supportive. Teaching Chinese as Second Language - Dalian University of Foreign Languages - 2016During my undergraduate studies from 2012 to 2016, I received comprehensive training in HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) teaching methods. Since beginning my teaching career in 2017, I have successfully guided hundreds of students in passing the HSK exams. Mandarin TeacherDuring my 15 months in New Zealand, I served as a Chinese teaching assistant at a high school and a Chinese teacher at an elementary school. I was responsible for designing and teaching Chinese language and cultural courses to 22 elementary school classes. I guided students aged 11-13 to understand the basics of the Chinese language and to gain insights into Chinese national culture. This experience has been immensely beneficial to my teaching of Chinese to children.

Cherry 老师 is the best!! I started lessons with her three years ago and we're still going strong <3 So warm, thoughtful, understanding, supportive, and creative!
She easily matches my level of understanding and corrects me in such an open and kind way that I am never afraid to just speak regardless of the mistakes I will make. With good prompts, topics specialised to my interest and situation, it was easy to speak and she would supply vocabulary and structures to help me tell my story. Learning always feels almost effortless with Cherry 老师.

车厘子会清楚地解释很难的词语和语法。比如：我应该说哪个confused的词，怎么用。她会给你写你的笔记，所以可以复习你刚才学什么。我开始上她的课，虽然我感觉很紧张说中文，但是她让我放松，所以可以练习我的口语与听力。我建议你上她的课。Cherry can clearly explain hard words and grammar. For example, which “confused” should I use. She will write some notes for you so you can revise what you have just learnt. When I started attending her class I was nervous to speak Chinese, however she allowed me to relax and practice my speaking and listening. I recommend you to attend her class.

I’ve been taking lessons with Cherry for over a year and she’s hands down the best Chinese teacher I’ve ever had! I like that she speaks Mandarin as much as possible in lessons and only uses English when I’m not understanding explanations in Chinese. She’s always friendly and helpful and does a great job of incorporating new vocabulary/grammar with conversation practice.

I enjoy my classes with Cherry. She is very energetic and creative. We discuss current issues and during the class, when grammar isssues come up she can explain them to me very clearly. I always look forward to my class!

I love my classes with Cherry. She is kind and listens well. She corrects mistakes I make. She takes very good notes that show new vocabulary and phrases in Chinese/pinyin/English. We never run out of interesting topics to discuss.
