Hallo liebe Deutschlernende!
I'm Theresa from Munich and I offer conversation based language support to intermediate and advanced learners of German. If you have done a few courses, feel a little stuck but are motivated to improve your German, I'm here to help.
When I'm not teaching German I'm studying Spanish, I'm out rock climbing or running my small farm in Northern Spain.عني كمعلّم
Choose between conversational practise for advanced learners and the B1 course - in both I focus on your needs as a person as well as a language learner.
I studied German linguistics, literature and philosophy. In 2019 I started giving German lessons online and joined Italki in 2020. I've since given more than 2800 lessons on different platforms, and I love it!
I also take online language lessons myself, so I know both sides of this enriching exchange.
I prefer to think of myself as someone who supports you in your learning rather than a teacher that tells you what to do, because this is the way I like to learn a language myself.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Focussing on a combination of guided conversation and problem solving my lessons are most useful for intermediate and advanced learners who want to break a language learning plateau, reach a new level of confidence or escape the boredom of conventional group language classes. We will create a comfortable learning environment for you, so you can try out your skills in a safe space. I will identify your most common errors, we'll hone in on your weaknesses and practise important grammar and expressions to make them part of your active use.
