Hi, I am Mai Anh from Vietnam. I'm currently living in the Netherlands. I love teaching and I love introducing Vietnamese language and culture to friends from all over the world. I am an academically trained English teacher in Vietnam with 5 years of experience in teaching Vietnamese. I speak 3 languages: Vietnamese, English and Dutch. I'm talkative and I love explaining, especially when it comes to languages.عني كمعلّم
I always try to be professional, practical yet entertaining in my lessons. I think learning languages should be fun. It is the window to let you fully explore different cultures in the world. The way we talk shows and at the same time shapes the way we think, hence it is very powerful to learn languages. Therefore, you, as an active language learner, should be taught with respect and professionalism. That being said, I also look at languages as the simplest tool of communication. You will learn Vietnamese with me in a practical context for you and your personal goals so that you can easily use what we learn. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are always planned based on a course book and your ability to learn. I was trained professionally to be a language teacher so I always take it seriously and professionally. I believe learners thrive the best with a clearly designed program. About my teaching style, I like teaching with examples and practice. Mai-Anh is extremely kind, helpful, and professional. She's always on time. She creates such a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment. She's willing to help you learn the vocabulary around any topic you choose, and help you learn to express yourself. Because she is so fluent in English, she's able to help you learn the nuances between certain words that can be used interchangeably, or often incorrectly used interchangeably by foreigners. If you're looking to grow in confidence in Vietnamese, this is the best tutor to go with!

Previously I had problems distinguishing some sound pairs in speech (như / nhi among others) — Mai-Anh helped me with that, and I am so grateful. I will come back with more difficult pairs like khách / khác.
