My name is Ikumi and I am a professional Japanese teacher.
I majored in English and minored in Japanese language teacher training course for my bachelor's degree.
I also had study experiences at Tianjin Foreign Studies University and University of Macau.
Currently, I am preparing for graduate school.

After I graduated, I was working as a Japanese TA in the US for 3 years.
As a TA, in addition to leading weekly lectures, I organized drill classes (conversation classes), graded quizzes and assignments, and held frequent help sessions for students in need of help or who want additional study material.
Through my experience in the US, I learned that the most crucial aspects of a successful teacher are Knowledge, Skill, Personality/Philosophy.
I work closely with my students to correct their mistakes and my work experience in addition to my intricate knowledge of Japanese grammar and skill will make learning Japanese fun and rewarding!دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي

I made some sentences in class today and it was great! Ikumi-sensei's teaching method is different from other ones I have encountered and it really works for me. I can see how I am improving, because I can actually understand why I do things rather than just doing them! Thank you Ikumi-sensei!

いくみ is very friendly and professional, I had a good practice even though the time was short, but I have already learned interesting things. We reviewed the particles and I practiced in building some sentences. The word order is very different both from English and Chinese so I'm getting hold of it. 今日ぼくは家で食べます. 私はお父さんとレストランにいきます。
