My name is Cahyo and I am a native speaker of Javanese and Indonesian. I'm a professional translator, but I'm also passionate about teaching languages. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, learning Greek, walking in nature and volunteering to translate subtitles for TED Education videos.عني كمعلّم
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and have experience teaching Javanese and Indonesian, both online and in person. My teaching philosophy centres on creating an engaging learning environment for my students. I believe that learning a new language should be enjoyable, so I make my lessons as interactive and dynamic as possible. I also tailor my lessons to meet the specific needs and goals of each student.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My focus is on improving students' conversational skills. This is what you can expect from my classes: I encourage students to speak. I expect students to be prepared to speak in class. You can either bring your own topic to practise your speaking skills or I can decide the topic for you. We will then develop the conversation and observe your progress. I won't lecture you on grammar, but I will correct any unnatural or incorrect words or expressions you use. I will provide you with notes on what we learn in class so that you can review them later. If you wish, we can also incorporate reading materials and grammar exercises into our lessons.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Aku samben duwe klas. aku ngomong jawa karo mas Cahyo. Bahasa jawa luwe suwe luwe lancar. Mas Cahyo force me to use javanese language during the class. That is way i improve alot.

I have been taking lessons from Mas Cahyo for a year now and I am very satisfied. I am now more confident with my Javanese language.
We always have fun during the lessons. Mas Cahyo always uses the Javanese language even though I sometimes speak in English. JEMPOL 👍

I am very happy with my first lesson with Cahyo. Although I am not a total beginner I felt I learned a lot in just one lesson. He is very calm and friendly and he put me at ease. He is very knowledgeable and I can tell that he has a passion for his language which he told me he has studied in depth at university level. He explained the expressions and the grammar in a simple way without over-emphasizing in details. Very good teacher overall!
