Hi! I’m Nkeng, a native French and English speaker who turns language learning into lively, confidence-building chats. With 5+ years of experience, I specialize in helping students speak naturally—whether for exams (TEF/TCF), travel, or daily life.
What sets me apart? I don’t just teach—I bridge cultures. Growing up bilingual means I understand the nuances that make conversations flow. Outside lessons, I’m a soccer fanatic, film buff, and storyteller (ask me about my adventures!).

I’ve been taking lessons with Joel on italki and I highly recommend him. He explains things clearly, is patient, and always adapts the lesson to your level and goals. The classes are well-structured but still relaxed, which makes it easy to speak and improve without pressure.
What I appreciate most is how he corrects mistakes in a constructive way and gives practical tips you can actually use in real conversations. I’ve noticed real progress in both my confidence and fluency.

I appreciate his engaging way of communicating and having real conversations about what is going on now as a way to practice. I would appreciate his typing into the chat words that I did not remember/ know so that I can go back and reference them later or use the typed words to help connect them to what he is saying.
