I am a native English speaker and a very keen lover of the English language and culture. I am interested in all topics, the world is a very interesting place; we can dive into some of the following topics: philosophy, religion, history, psychology, linguistics, science etc. It is most important for me to make you feel comfortable so my aim in our lessons, is to provide you with a safe and friendly space. By profession I have been a tourist guide and a public speaker for much of my adult life, catering primarily to the French speaking market but also the Dutch, Swedish, British, German, American too.عني كمعلّم
I have a great love for languages in general and have always been fascinated with how they work. I enjoy mapping one language onto another. I try to evoke this same interest in my students, and help them see both the similarities and the differences between their native language and the language they are learning.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My teaching style is very flexible and very much depends on the level and needs of my student. In my experience it helps a huge deal that the subject matter being discussed is personally relevant in some way to the student, so I will suggest to my student to bring with them material that they find stimulating or are interested in. Alternatively, I can provide the material.
Furthermore, it is in terms of my students needs that my lessons focus more or less on grammar, or on conversation. I find grammar in itself fascinating, and if the objective is preparing for a written exam, then we will focus on the technicalities pertinent to that exam.
