ESP: Soy Joan, de Barcelona pero vivo en Holanda. Soy muy social, dicen que divertido, informal pero muy profesional. He trabajado en educación toda mi vida, y sin duda, enseñar lenguas es mi pasión.
ENG: I'm Joan, from Barcelona but I live in Holland. I am very social, some people say funny, informal but very professional. I have worked in education all my life, and without a doubt, teaching languages is my passion.عني كمعلّم
ESP:He trabajado por más de cinco años como profesor de español como segunda lengua. Durante este periodo también he dado clases de catalán. Me gusta hacer las clases divertidas, con sentido del humor y relajadas. Aprender es sinónimo de disfrutar, de pasarlo bien. Soy muy flexible y me gusta escuchar a mis estudiantes para poder ofrecer lo que más les ayude.
ENG: I have worked for more than five years as a teacher of Spanish as a second language. During this period I have also taught Catalan. I like to make the classes fun. Let's enjoy it! :) . ESP:Mi método se basa en tres fases:
1) Conocernos: Conocer tu nivel, necesidades y tus objetivos.
2) Darte una estructura para ordenar tus conocimientos.
3) Practicar a partir de esta estructura.
¿Cómo practicamos? Depende tu nivel y lo que sea mejor para ti. A partir de conversación, ejercicios, compartir la pantalla para trabajar juntos, escribir o leer textos y HABLAR mucho.
ESP: My method is based on three phases:
1) Get to know us. Know your level, needs, your goals.
2) Give a structure to order your knowledge.
3) Practice from this structure.

Joan is super friendly, approachable, and he’s clearly good at what he does. He understands languages and the process of 2nd/3rd language acquisition 😊 i was able to communicate what I liked in the past and he adapted the lesson to what suits me. Super excited to work with him more!!

For anyone struggling with the subjunctive, I'd highly recommend Joan as a teacher. Possibly the best explanations of its uses that I'd ever heard before, and I've heard and struggled to understand a lot of them!

Joan is highly qualified and very professional. He tailors the class according to your needs. He's got a lot of energy but also manages to make you feel comfortable enough to speak. Of particular note, he designs a lot of materials that are well suited to helping you learn your language of choice. Gràcies Joan! Fins aviat!
