¡Hola! I’m a Spanish teacher with a twist: part researcher, journalist, and agroecology PhD. My lessons blend language with history, science, and politics—inspired by my work editing books, writing for radio, and teaching across Europe. From Madrid to Athens, I’ve crafted a teaching style that’s as dynamic as my background: think *Spanish through documentaries* or *grammar via environmental debates*. Whether you’re discussing Lorca’s poetry or Latin American geopolitics, we’ll learn *together*—because language thrives when it’s alive, critical, and deeply human. I have a Master in Pedagogy and I follow, among others, the pedagogical methods of Paulo Freire or Francisco Ferrer i Guardia. As these pedagogues, I believe that the educational process must be a process of mutual relationship. Teachers are only facilitators and knowledge is produced jointly between teachers and students. You’ll learn Spanish through inclusive language, enabling us to produce our realities and subjectivities with freedom. We’ll approach together the logic of the Spanish language, through its historical influences, structures and phonetics. We’ll cover Spanish vocabulary and grammar while exploring our shared interests. We’ll prepare every lesson in advance. Generally, I will suggest a research topic, or to read an article, watch a documentary or listen to a podcast. During our lessons I will partially transcribe our conversation, highlighting those elements that we need to discuss together. The idea is to create a real bond between the student and the tutor, and in so doing build a safe spaceموادي الخاصة بالتدريس

This was a great first lesson with Ines. I had been learning some Spanish on my own before and wanted to focus on oral and written communication in particular. Ines had a very patient and encouraging approach, and I was able to express myself well, with plenty of help provided for filling gaps or explaining words/structures I could not remember in Spanish. We also discussed next steps and approaches to future lessons, to which I am very much looking forward to! Highly recommended, also for beginners like myself.

I always look forward to my classes with Iñes. She’s incredibly intelligent and always has great insights about whatever we are discussing. Lessons with her are the equivalent of taking a university level class for a small fraction of the price.

I love my lessons with Ines. She is so patient and easy-going, and the content is really based on what I'd like to do. She keeps notes in a pad and I make sure to go back and review my mistakes there. Cannot recommend her highly enough!
