Hi everyone! My name is Rick, and I’m from Holland. I love languages and would be happy to help you improve your Dutch. As a teacher, I am flexible, honest, and direct. I will clearly explain what you can improve and how to reach the next level. In our lessons, we will first talk about your goals, interests, and learning style. Based on that, I will create a personal study plan for you. My teaching style focuses on comprehensible input, speaking practice, and immersion outside of class. We can discuss Dutch content together so you build confidence naturally. Language learning is a marathon, not a sprint, and mindset is very important. I am a very flexible teacher and I will tell you straight what I think and how to advance to the next level. I am very direct (I guess part of being Dutch :-) ). Furthermore, I expect the students to be motivated and to do as we discussed. Language acquisition is a marathon not a sprint. ;-) First, I want to have a chat with the student to find out what interests them and how the learn the best and based on that information I will create a personal study plan. My teaching style would be mostly focused on providing comprehensible content for my students for them to study. This means I require my students to immerse in the language outside of the class. During the classes I will discus the content that the student read (preferably in Dutch) in order to practice speaking. I will explain what the best way of immersion is and how I do it myself. Fin...

Уроците по холандски с Рик са истинско удоволствие. Обяснява по изключително ясен и разбираем начин както на български, така и на английски, което много помага за усвояването на езика. Часовете винаги са приятни, спокойни и често много забавни, така че ученето става естествено и мотивиращо. Рик обръща внимание на детайлите и ако усети, че има нещо, което не съм разбрала напълно, веднага намира начин да го обясни по-добре и да го упражним. Същевременно много уважава времето ми – по време на урока се фокусираме върху най-важното и върху нещата, които наистина изискват неговото обяснение и насоки. Много съм благодарна за търпението, отношението и начина, по който преподава. Уроците с него са не само полезни, но и наистина приятни, и го препоръчвам от сърце на всеки, който иска да учи холандски.

I found the lesson very pleasant and cheerful. Rick is very helpful and understands straight away the weak points and not less important, he knows how to face it giving you the tools to understand it fully and go over it.
