一如往常的開心上課時光，老師讓我有很多練習聽然後自己寫的機會，一來可以加深印象，二來可以練習聽力，很容易就把單字記下來，謝謝老師。

I think Glenda may be my favourite Vietnamese teacher, so far, and I have had a few. I have been studying now for 3 years and have had maybe 7 'teachers' over that time. I am no beginner anymore: so, what is great about her for someone who is starting to get a grasp of the language is that she gives you lots of space to speak, is listening intently and offers targetted advice and corrections. This is super valuable for me, where I am now. So, for those learners who are at that stage where they feel a little bit confident and want to practice talking... THIS IS YOUR TEACHER!! Good luck on your journey...! Practice every day! ;-)

She is very patient when listening and is very clear when correcting.

I love where our exchange is going and the vocabulary I will be able to practice, with Glenda. We are talking about many complex ideas that affect the city.

Glenda is super friendly and encouraging! I'm only learning some Vietnamese for travel, and she's very engaged and supportive the entire class. It also helps a lot that she knows both English and Mandarin when she's explaining the sounds. She answers all my questions very well and can help me relate certain sounds back to sounds I'm familiar with. And compared to other Italki teachers I've had, she's the only one that really emphasizes on my mouth shape when pronouncing words. If I ever want to learn Vietnamese long term, I would definitely come back for Glenda.

Teacher Ha, was wonderful as always! I did 2 hours of class in a row and I am much more comfortable speaking then I was. I take the casual speaking class and she was very patient repeating and writing words so I could practice listening comprehension. Her notes after class were really invaluable and I both highly recommend and will be booking more class periods with her!!! ~ Sage Hawthorne.
