I can't recommend her more than I already have. I can't think of any words that describe how good of a teacher she is. She is a kind, patient, and encouraging teacher. From the very beginning, she made me feel comfortable when learning Korean and never made me feel embarrassed even when I struggled or forgot something. She explains things clearly and if you ask a question or say you don't understand she'll go more in-depth and give examples. She never made me feel bad for getting something wrong instead she'd slow down, repeat it, and help me understand. She's also understanding, always creating such a positive environment. What I like most is how genuinely supportive she is as a teacher and a person. You can tell just from meeting her she truly cares about her students and wants them to learn and understand, not just memorize. I'm so grateful I got the opportunity to learn from her. She is an amazing teacher and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Korean!

When I don’t understand or am second guessing myself she’s patient and gentle. I like that she doesn’t judge when I make a mistake and she gives positive feedback and encouragement. It makes me want to study even when busy so i can make it easier on her. She guides me through the lessons and encourages me to read and speak while still maintaining a fun learning environment. I love her as my teacher.

Every lesson I had feels like I’m learning so much. She allows you to freely ask questions without judgement and corrects you patiently. She makes it fun and engaging for me to learn and matches the lessons to my experience! Each class with her brings a smile to my face to the point my cheekbones hurt. Once the lesson ends I’m always anticipating the start of our next lesson.

Still loving the lessons thanks to the positive energy and feedback!! I love that I can feel like i’m perfectly being taught (despite my brain being slow and me forgetting everything). I love the class and teacher because the classes are fun and rewarding (getting a question right). My ears are slowly developing to the sound of korean (it still sounds like they’re rapping when speaking though..) I appreciate that she speaks slow enough for me to understand what is being said instead but sometimes pushes my brain. She typically starts speaking fast when she’s said a word or phrase a lot. Half the time I understand immediately but sometimes I ask her to repeat it. Throughout all the lessons I have had with her I feel like I gained both a friend and a teacher! (aka she’s so fun to be with it’s like i’m talking with a friend)

The lesson was still fun. I thought that the more lessons I did the more boring it would be but it keeps getting more exciting! The teaching style is fun and engaging and it genuinely gave me a huge shock seeing characters I liked in the lesson. Despite it being a little tricky at times I felt encouraged to learn and keep trying. Learning with her keeps me motivated and wanting to learn more and more overtime. I never expected to be someone who’d have an insatiable desire for knowledge and learning until I took these classes. I want to keep learning so I can accomplish my goal and also be able to communicate freely in Korean with her. Thank you for the lesson!

She's very sweet and good at teaching. I learned so much from her and her teaching style was amazing! She encouraged me when I didn't know if I was saying it right and gave compliments. She asked what my learning style is and made sure the lesson was ok for me. Even if it was my first meeting with her I felt I could talk freely like I knew her for years. I'm typically really shy with people but she makes a safe learning environment and a place you could express yourself. She's very good at adapting to your needs if you communicate them to her. After the lesson she sent a summary of what we learned in total. She makes learning seem like just talking with a friend with her bubbly personality. Even as someone who doesn't have a lot of money her lessons make me want to pay for each one. Her lessons are affordable as well and I look forward to taking a lesson with her again. I recommend her 100%
