Ciao! My name is Claudia, and I come from Florence, Tuscany. I am passionate about teaching my native language and Italian culture in general. I have more than 15 years of experience and continue to update my skills to offer the best teaching quality. I am an optimistic, dynamic, and friendly; because of my experience with students from all over the world, I developed a strong interest in the exchange and dialogue between different cultures. I love learning, so my life is not only that of a teacher but very often also that of a student! If you like the Italian language, culture, art, fashion, food, wine or Italian Opera, I am the perfect teacher for you! I love my job, and my mission is to offer the dedication and focus that every student needs and deserves, creating tailored lesson plans. Students can count on me as a constant point of reference to learn all the aspects of my language and culture while having fun at the same time! Students of all levels interested in learning the language for personal or professional reasons can design and plan their study program according to their demands and profiles. I work with modern communication methods that focus on the practical use of speaking skills, combined with grammar, and using an inductive approach. I support each student, respecting their learning pace and prioritizing their personal learning objectives.

I’ve taken lessons with Claudia weekly for over a year. She has helped me improve my Italian from ~A2 to about ~B1/B2. Lessons included learning and reviewing grammar, articles and stories on different topics to help broaden my vocabulary, homework, and feedback on conversational errors I made so I can improve. Claudia’s style of teaching is very engaging, encouraging, and she always checks to make sure what is being covered is useful. A part from being a great teacher, Claudia is a kind, warm, and funny person which helps make the tone of the lessons less stressful and more fun. I can’t recommend her enough to people who want to get 1-on-1 help to improve their Italian in an unintimidating and supportive environment. She’s great! 😊
