I was born in the south west of England, and have been always been an explorer and a lover of cultures. I currently live in Barcelona and have travelled to over 90 countries in the world, my passion is spreading my love for the English language. I'm a freelance TEFL Qualified teacher with 8 years experience both in house and online. I'm particularly passionate about travel and photography, as well as football and rugby and I love to learn about new interests from other people.
I've worked as a general manager overlooking 50 staff, so my organisational skills are fantastic. Im also extremely familiar with the type of English used when living and working in an English speaking country.عني كمعلّم
I offer 3 lesson options. Conversational/General, Business English, and IELTS exam preparation.
In terms of business, I have previously worked in management and have significant experience in meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
As for IELTS preparation, I have already assisted over 30 students to relocate to an English speaking country.
Patience is something that I prioritise in my lessons, you will never feel embarrassed with me. I encourage my students to feel as relaxed as possible, and try to build a good relationship between student and teacher.
I have a neutral British accent which is easily understandable, and speak extremely clearly while still staying natural.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
The most important thing to know, is that our lessons will be fun, friendly, and enjoyable - THIS IS A PRIORITY OF MINE.
I love to teach through conversation, I am the teacher but the lesson is based on you. The lessons will be planned, but I like to adapt the lesson as we go to suits your needs. As we are talking, I will write corrections and will explain them once you have finished. This is important to improve your accuracy, but I always like to let you speak without interruption to improve your fluency. Joe is so great! He is open-minded, easy-going and possitive teacher and the lessons are a lot of fun and at the same time you can discuss anything. I appreciate the way he provides feedback and he can definitely make friendly, safe and motivating atmosphere. :)
