Hi! I'm Rina. I'm from Nagasaki, Japan. Now I live in Kyoto! I have been teaching Japanese for five years. My students and I are always doing FUN lessons✨ I'm very friendly so if you are nervous to take online lessons, don't worry😉

The purpose of learning a language varies from person to person. My students and I talk about the lesson, and I'm always focused on making sure the lesson fits the purpose of the learning. For Conversation🗣 -Daily Conversation and talk about what you like -Roll-play practice (Practice situations that may occur while traveling) -Conversation roulette (Conversation topic is chosen from roulette then we talk about that) ※ If you come across any grammar or vocabulary you don’t understand, I will write it in the chat right away. I can also type words and sentences in Google Sheets as we talk. For Grammar✏ -Japanese Gacha (We will make a sentence from words that appear randomly) -Make a lot of example sentences using JLPT N5 to N1 grammar in Google Sheets. -Textbook lesson📙📗📕 (Genki1,2 / MarugotoA1,B1 / QUARTET1 / TRY! for N2 / Your textbook)

I've been studying with Rina for over 2 years and in that time, I've gone from an almost complete beginner to having passed the N3. One of her greatest strengths is how well she is able to explain complex or tricky grammar points, as well as her ability to make every lesson engaging and fun. We've currently begun prepping for the N2 together and although it'll be the hardest challenge I've had, I'm confident that I'll be able to pass with Rina. I’ve been having weekly lessons with Rina-sensei for 1 year now and it’s been a lot of fun! At the start I knew almost no Japanese, but with her patience and kind teaching I have been able to pass the JLPT N5 exam. We are now working towards N4 and there is no one else I would rather have by my side. Thank you, Rina-sensei! If you need help studying towards a JLPT exam or just want to have a relaxed environment to learn more about the language, I really recommend Rina-sensei. Her enthusiasm for the language and her friendly approach to teaching make lessons the highlight of my week.
