Ciao! My name is Martina, I was born in Novara, Italy, but for the past seven years I’ve been living in Spain. More than twenty years ago, my first encounter with the English language: it was love at first sight. Then came French, German, Russian, Spanish... In 2012, my first time teaching Italian to foreigners in the United States. The following year, my passion for languages came true and I started teaching Italian and translating full time. When I'm not working, you can find me trekking in the mountains, cooking, and reading books or watching movies on the sofa.عني كمعلّم
I am a certified teacher of Italian for foreigners with over seven years of experience in teaching online to adult students from all over the world, who have always appreciated my professionalism, my patience, my dedication, and my ability to understand and adapt to their needs. I have taught Italian to University students, Erasmus students, managers, company directors, or simply to people eager to get to know this beautiful language and its equally rich culture. With me, you can take general Italian courses, conversation courses or business Italian courses; I am here to listen to you and to help you reach your goals.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Before we actually start learning, we will check your current Italian level and we will discuss your goals, needs, and expectations. The materials and the content of the lessons will then be adapted to you, your learning style and what you really need. My preferred teaching method is the communicative approach, which allows an immediate practical application of what is covered in class; through a series of guided and semi-guided activities and exercises, you will gradually gain autonomy and confidence while speaking or writing in Italian. My speaking has substantially improved with these lessons with Martina. My husband and I went to Italy, and I was able to comfortably have many conversations with people who spoke little to no English. I still have a long way to go to be fluent, but my level is certainly enough to get around even in small Italian villages.

Martina is an excellent and patient teacher. She lets me search for that word that is on the tip of my tongue without ever showing the least bit of frustration. The material she uses is varied and we touch on many aspects of the Italian language. I can highly recommend lessons with Martina.
