Hello, Bonjour! Привет!
My name is Jasmine, I am French and I live in Montpellier, a medieval city on the Mediterranean shores.
French is my native language, I also speak English and Russian! I am very familiar with language learning and teaching as well: I have lived in four countries, travelled to twenty and my husband is not a native French speaker.
My hobbies are sewing, reading and traveling!عني كمعلّم
I graduated with a Masters degree in Translation and I hold a university degree in Teaching French as a foreign language. I have learned languages the traditional way at university also by immersion practicing with natives, which was what worked best for me. I would be happy to try whatever method you think may suits you best to progress and I will guide you through the lessons.
Everybody is different and has different goals when it comes to learn a language, so there are many ways to teach.

Jasmine is great! She is always on time and ready to go. She is kind and responsive. She is upbeat and fun. She comes up with creative ways to improve my French. All in all, I feel lucky that she is my French teacher!

I'm so happy that I chose Jasmine as my teacher. She is exactly what I wanted in a teacher. I messaged her before the lesson to let her know what I wanted to accomplish in the lessons, and she was very receptive to what I wanted. She is so easy and calm to talk to. The conversation never felt forced...it was like talking to a friend. She spoke French slowly and clearly so that I could easily understand. You will be very happy if you choose her as a teacher. I highly recommend!
