A language enthusiast who wore (and keeps wearing) the T-shirt. :) 4 years of experience Szia! Hello! ¡Hola! My name is Gellért. I am a Hungarian tutor here on Italki. I have spent three summers in the United States/en los EE.UU. between 2017 and 2019. In the second summer I ended up working with Mexicans in a kitchen of a huge hotel. This summer in 2018 was a life changing experience for me since people from all over the world were working there. In my free time/En mi tiempo libre I love going to the gym, studying languages, going for a walk with family members and friends and experiencing new activites and things. (I recently added wakeboard to my bucket list) :) No matter what your level is , I can help you, BUT this is especially true if you are one of the 3 students mentioned in the video. When it comes to teaching, I like to make the student familiar with structures and patterns that are "set in stone". According to my students, I am patient and encouraging. I was and I am in the same boat, therefore I am aware of the difficulties one is facing with, while acquiring a new language. Every student is different, everyone has different goals. However, learning the stuctures one can also pull out from its pocket can help tremendously. I am concerned that making mistakes is the only way to make progress, no matter what the object of the learning is. I’ve had a few lessons with Géllert now, and they’ve been great. I learn something new each time, and he has provided small tweaks and phrases to help my communication be more clear, and to help me remember formulas for conveying information.
