🏄🏻♂️Hi, my name is Marios and I am a Greek language teacher from Greece currently living in Athens. My passion for languages led me to study English, Italian and French which has proved to be extremely useful when teaching Greek as a foreign language. I have been teaching online for over 2 years and I can provide structured as well as conversational-based lessons. In the course of my language learning journey, I realised that learning foreign languages not only changed my outlook on the world but also changed me and made me a better person.عني كمعلّم
🧑🏻🏫As a teacher :
• I am very relaxed and I let my students express themselves, noting any mistakes to review later without interrupting the student. After all, mistakes are opportunities for improvement.
• I like to see my students as friends, creating a friendly/warm learning environment.
• I am a good listener and I pay a lot of attention to what my students tell me.

📖My teaching style :
• I provide structured lessons using a selected book, designed for learners at every stage, from beginners to those aspiring for fluency.
• The lessons are also conversation based on various topics of everyday life.
• I work with a live document so during and at the end of each lesson you will be able to review it.

Marios is an amazing tutor! Try and you’ll see. I’ve just finished my first lesson with him and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more!We laughed a lot throughout the lesson but at the same time the lesson was so so productive, effective and fun, I learnt a lot in just one lesson! Besides being a great and patient tutor, he is such a warm, pleasant and friendly person! As soon as the lesson started, we talked like as if we were two old friends. Everything was just more than perfect. Thank you so so much Marios! See you in the next lesson. Can’t wait!

This is by far the BEST class I have ever had on Italki. If there was a 100-star rating system, I would definitely give him one hundred! I am completely speechless by Marios' level of enthusiasm and knowledge! I would like to tell everybody not to book him, because I want to keep him ALL for myself, but since I feel generous, I HIGHLY recommend Marios! You will not regret your choice!!! I am sure I will learn so much from him in the near future! And his Italian is flawless ;) Grazie infinite, carissimo!!!

Marios is an excellent teacher—encouraging, supportive and attentive. He makes lessons fun, has helpful resources, and I'm already feeling more comfortable speaking Greek. Highly recommend taking lessons with him!

Wow! Marios is an exceptional teacher- you can see teaching is his passion! He adjusted the class to your level, and encourages you to speak as much Greek as possible. He makes the Greek language feel approachable and his explanations are brilliant! Materials are absolutely fantastic, he is very generous. The class was equal parts enjoyable as it was educational! I can't recommend enough!!!
