-If you cancel the lesson within 24 hours, you will be charged 50%. If you cancel without notice or do not show up within 15 minutes, you will be charged 100%.

Today, we talked about the weather and how hot it still seems to be in October. We also discussed the weather patterns for islands with mountains. Then, we reviewed Genki 2 Chapter 19 and I forgot some of the vocabulary. Sayumi-san found where the word was defined and directed me to it. Thanks for all the help, Sayumi-san!

Today, we talked about getting used to returning to work after being laid off. We also went over Lesson 19 exercises in Genki 2. I need to study my grammar more. Thank you for being so patient Sayumi-san!

Today, Sayumi-san told me about the Kochi street performance event that occurred this past weekend. It was fun to hear about the mask changing performance and surprising to see the mask change so quickly. We also got to discuss various waterfalls around the world and the beautiful scenery they offer.

Today, we talked about an anime that I just finished watching and creating costumes for cosplay or halloween. We then reviewed Genki 2 Chapter 19 and I learned more about different ways to use に and から. I look forward to our next lesson!

Today, we went over the Te form and how to properly use it when speaking sentences in Japanese. By far the toughest lesson I’ve had with Sayumi sensei yet, but that just makes me want to try harder. And I’m still working on knowing how to properly use the particles when speaking in Japanese, so more to brush on when I take the time to study going forward.

We shared pictures of the different stuffed animal collections we had and what they were. We also talked about the new game I've been playing a lot: Hollow Knight: Silksong. Finally, we discussed the weakness I have for being tempted with a good story such as light novels or anime.
