Ayumi es la mejor maestra de japonés que he tenido, y es alguien que el estudiante puede tener de guía para alcanzar sus objetivos en el idioma. Con Ayumi realmente sentí el amor que tiene por enseñar y eso se refleja en cómo imparte sus lecciones. Al estudiar gramática, Ayumi se asegura de que el estudiante entiende la estructura de las oraciones y lo invita a utilizar activamente la forma gramatical estudiada. Otro factor muy valioso que la diferencia de otros maestros es que siempre corrige tus errores al hablar, te explica por qué te equivocaste y cómo puedes corregirlo, siempre siendo amable con el estudiante. Así mismo, su amplia preparación profesional en el idioma es evidente, pues en ocasiones le he preguntado acerca de conceptos poco comunes, y ha sabido explicarlos de forma completa. Puedo decir que sus lecciones contribuyeron a que aprobara el nivel N1 del JLPT, y siempre estaré agradecido por todo el conocimiento que ha compartido conmigo. いつもありがとうございます、あゆみ先生。

Best Japanese teacher. I've been taking lessons with Ayumi for a long time now and she always offers easy explanations, speaks in easy-to-understand Japanese that adjusts with your level (allowing you to building speaking/listening skills), and writing notes for the vocabulary used in lessons. She also has a ton of PowerPoint slides for the grammar from Minna No Nihongo (one of the most popular texts). She really puts the "professional" in Professional tutor on iTalki. If you're serious about learning, I would recommend her, because she has all the experience and know-how to bring your Japanese to where you want it to be.

The class is always fun, energetic and full of information.

I cannot express the the devotion, expertise, and the impact of Ayumi-sensei had on my Japanese in this review. If my essay isn’t sufficient proof that Ayumi sensei is a role model for all teachers, then I can tell you that I am still in awe and blessed to be taught by someone who provides endless encouragement and reassurance despite the fact that I don’t use the best material as a foundation on how to speak, to be teaching the materials specifically crafted for me over and over again, to provide culturally important information that addresses communication gaps without any advanced notice. Along with her technical brilliance, her lessons are incredibly fun. I cannot imagine a person explaining a concept, and do it in a way that makes me laugh uncontrollably (you’ll laugh yourself to sleep with the jokes/examples she shares) while simultaneously, learn something beyond what I can possibly find in a textbook or on the internet, and change my outlook to the degree that I am starting to feel cool speaking formally/politely and even what type of anime character I like!
