I am Camille Jewl M. Marasigan, a certified TEFL instructor and experienced private tutor based in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines. With over four years of professional experience in teaching English and Filipino (Tagalog), I create engaging, student-centered lessons that are thoughtfully tailored to each learner’s goals and learning style.
I hold multiple international teaching certificates, including TEFL, TESOL, TEYL, TESL, Business English, Cultural Studies, English 101, and Basic English 1 & 2. These qualifications allow me to support learners of all ages—whether you need structured academic guidance, practical conversational skills, or confidence-building language practice.
I work closely with students to help them complete homework tasks, strengthen weak areas, and build confidence in their learning. Whether in the classroom, at home, or through online sessions, I provide personalized academic support tailored to each student’s needs. I also conduct focused online tutoring to enhance speaking skills, ensuring learners develop clear, natural, and effective communication
The style of my lessons always depends on the student’s needs and interests. I can teach in a fun, entertaining way or shift to a more serious, structured approach—whatever helps the learner stay motivated and confident. Camilla is a wonderful person and a great teacher. She is always prepared for class, engaged in conversation. She remembers her students, often refers back to what we have done before, every class she gives suggestions on what I have to be improved and what has already been improved. She is really great at what she does - highly recommended!
