Hola, soy Angie :) Tengo 22 años y soy de Barranquilla, Colombia. Soy psicóloga y me apasiona la educación. En mis tiempos libres, me gusta leer, escuchar música y bordar. Básicamente, mi vida se divide en aprender, enseñar, conocer literatura latinoamericana, escuchar rock en español y salsa, y repetir capítulos de The Office y Friends. Ah, también trabajo 🤭.
Siempre he sido una aficionada de los idiomas y me hace muy feliz compartir esta afición con los demás. Hablo inglés, quiero mejorar en francés y aprender italiano. I'm a proud language nerd and I love helping others to learn :).عني كمعلّم
Como tutora y estudiante de idiomas he aprendido que está bien equivocarse y que el aprendizaje requiere paciencia y constancia. Estas creencias son las que me caracterizan como tutora: soy una persona paciente, empática y me adapto a las necesidades, preferencias y ritmo de cada estudiante. Me gusta escuchar los intereses de cada estudiantes para diseñar clases personalizadas y motivantes.
Learning languages has taught me that it's okay to make mistakes and that learning requires patience and discipline. I'm an empathetic and patient teacher, who adapts to students' needs. I try to keep in mind students' likes so I can design customized and engaging lessons!دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Considero fundamental la práctica y retroalimentación. Para tutorías de español, uso diapositivas, diferentes recursos (juegos, videos, lecturas, música) y actividades para promover habilidades escritas y orales. Las clases de conversación suelen ser más informales y podemos hablar de manera libre o sobre temas específicos. Siempre intento brindar retroalimentación y corregir errores.
Las clases varían según las necesidades y objetivos de cada estudiante. Suelo aprovechar los primeros encuentros para hacer acuerdos con los estudiantes sobre nuestro plan de trabajo. ¡Puedes acceder a todos los recursos que usemos en la clase!

Angie is amazing!! I’ve had two classes with her so far and I will definitely be having more with her regularly. She keeps the conversation flowing and I feel comfortable talking to her. Not only that, but she shares her screen and takes notes on new vocabulary and errors so that you can go back and look through them. As someone learning a new language, this has been vital in my Spanish learning. I am also a visual learner, so I love being able to see the words on the screen. Angie es la mejor maestra!

Great first lesson with Angie! A lot of positive energy and great vibes! Angie is really focused on student needs. She is always prepared for the lesson and when you talk with her time flies! Her English is great, she asks you a lot of questions with is good for speaking skills development. Even if you are on elementary level with her attitude you will be able to speak a little bit of Spanish!
Book a lesson with her and you will not regret it!

Thank you Angie for another lovely lesson. Angie is always prepared with slides on a topic. We have a custom study plan together so I know what we are learning each class. Angie is very patient when introducing grammar and helps with pronunciation but also practices the new vocab with you so you are not just reading but learning it and correcting your mistakes. Cannot wait to keep learning together! ✏️🌟📝🌟📒🌟📚

Angie is patient and calm. We got to know each other, she introduced her classes, and we did a conversation activity, which was fun and thought-provoking! She gave me plenty of room to speak, which was great practice. I liked that Angie is adaptable in her methods of providing feedback. Since I'm visual and like to look back on notes, she writes feedback on a document when I make mistakes, which is laid out in such an organized way. Muchas gracias por hoy y ¡hasta la próxima!
