Hola! My name is Sofía, and I'm Mexican. I have a deep passion for connecting with new people, engaging in meaningful conversations, and exploring diverse topics. Learning new languages is another joy of mine; I currently have an advanced level in English and an intermediate level in French.
Outside of language learning, I find solace in practicing yoga, immersing myself in poetry, taking leisurely walks with my dog, and expressing myself through dance and writing.
I have had the privilege of traveling while working, which has enriched my understanding of cultures and broadened my perspective. I hope you feel encouraged to join me for a trial class

In addition to being a native Spanish speaker with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and over 3 years of online teaching experience, I have also conducted assisted reading workshops with therapy dogs and taught reading and writing comprehension classes. These diverse experiences have taught me to adapt to each student's unique needs and interests, ensuring personalized lessons tailored to maximize learning.
With my knack for understanding individual personalities, I excel in adapting to each person's unique traits and providing enriching experiences.

I have learned Italian, Portuguese and now I am learning Spanish. I have had dozens of teachers on Italki and on Preply, and I am not exaggerating when I say that Sofía is special. The classes are lots of fun and we are covering grammar as well. I always hated grammar but Sofía knows how to explain dry topics with a touch of humor, which makes it much easier to digest. I have been taking classes with my girlfriend since the beginning of January and we are on our way from zero to hero. The first classes were still in English and now, 40 days later, we are already talking entire classes in Spanish. Off course you always have to put in the effort yourself learning a language, but Sofía is a great motivation! We hope that we are going to have many more classes an thank you so much Sofía!
