Sylv Learn French

cannot recommend Sylv highly enough. In addition to our conversations, his books on conversational activities are outstanding! I’m seeing new approaches to things I thought I knew. I though I could order at a restaurant in Paris…done it numerous times. Using my classroom French worked, but now I understand how to do it using current expressions and idioms. And that doesn’t even touch on the argot. Finally thanks to Sylv, I can better understand what I’ve been hearing (though this will take time, I see now). And his patience must be legendary! Working with Sylv has taken my conversation to the next level..Merci beaucoup!

Sylvanus is an excellent French teacher. I’ve been having lessons with him for a few months, and with him I have improved my speaking, listening comprehension and pronunciation. He isn’t afraid to challenge his students, but he is always able to provide clear explanations for difficult points. I highly recommend him.

He is so so awesome! He's super friendly and very kind. My French isn't great yet he was incredibly patient with me. This was my first lesson with him and I really appreciated when he immediately did some role plays with me. He taught me relevant French that I would use and hear. It was such a great lesson! Improvising classes is ok as long as teachers providing students with the info according to their level and needs . In addition, teachers must speak fast or slow according to students’ level . Otherwise , students wouldn’t have enough confidence to put themselves across regardless of their vocabulary proficiency . Thanks .
