My name is Carolina. I’m originally from the north of Portugal - Porto but I’m currently based in Toulouse, France.
I have a deep passion for traveling and discovering new places around the world. This love for cultures and communication inspired me to start teaching in 2021. I’m particularly knowledgeable in Portuguese literature, but I enjoy discussing a wide variety of topics, thanks to my diverse interests. I’m also into arts - I draw, paint, write, read, and play guitar. I enjoy sports such as football, atheltics, volleyعني كمعلّم
I’m a dedicated and supportive teacher who puts a lot of effort into helping each student succeed. I’m patient, understanding, and cheerful, and I love sharing fascinating aspects of language and culture.
My students are my priority during the lessons, so I do whatever they prefer (for instance, during conversational lessons, while some prefer to talk more, others like to improve their listening skills and want me to speak more)

My lessons are flexible and fully tailored to each student’s goals and preferences. We can focus on vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, or even pronunciation, depending on what you want to improve. After exploring the topic together, we’ll go through exercises to reinforce your understanding.
If you want to have homework, I’ll be happy to prepare personalized assignments to help you practice between lessons.

Book a lesson, you will not regret it!!
She is honestly the best portuguese teacher around. Currently teaching my 7 year old son. She is patient and tries her best to center lessons to topics he enjoys. She is always willing to work with his school schedule and book lessons accordingly. My son enjoys his portuguese lessons and never dreads them. She makes them fun with games and very interactive. She is amazing!!

Another great lessons with Carolina. Thanks for being so patient and support. Our lessons had covered different aspects today, including grammar, vocabulary, writing, speaking. I've been having lesson with Carolina for almost half a year, she genuinely helps me to consolidate my language skills.

I've been learning with Carolina now a bit more than a year. My goal was from the beginning to learn Portuguese interactively but also in a structured manner.
Having Japanese as my mothertongue and English and German as my daily languages, I was sure that my brain will be consufed when I don't learn from a correct teacher with an organized methodology and, for me particularly imortant, the ability to understand and answer my questions that often arise by comparing with other languages I know.
So I was very lucky that I found her straight away among many teachers here.
Her materials are very well structured and I get enough homeworks (for me a big plus :D). Carolina's lessons motivate me a lot and that I am still learning with her is the evidence for that ;)

As minhas sessões com a Carolina têm como principal objetivo melhorar a minha capacidade de falar e compreender português para que possa comunicar ocasionalmente durante uma longa viagem que irei fazer em breve. Ela dá-me tempo para me expressar, faz perguntas, corrige algumas pronúncias e escreve algumas traduções no chat. É muito calma e demonstra genuíno interesse pelos nossos assuntos. As nossas sessões de 45 minutos passam a voar!
