Hello! :) I am a CELTA-qualified teacher living in Bristol, England.
I help students prepare for IELTS and C1 Advanced so that they can fulfil their dreams of studying abroad. Several of my previous students now live in the UK and the US and are having a great time eating hamburgers, making friends and visiting medieval towns, not to mention earning their degree at prestigious universities.
I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a 1st Class BA in French & Hispanic Studies in 2020 and have been teaching English in various settings since 2019. It always brings me great joy to see my students progress and gain confidence.

I take a patient, student-based approach to teaching to reduce the anxieties that can sometimes be associated with language learning and exam preparation.
I specialise in IELTS preparation and have completed specific training in order to understand the test in depth, as well as how examiners assess writing and speaking. As such, you can rest assured that my comments/recommendations/corrections etc. are relevant and will help you improve your score. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I use high-quality, official materials from Cambridge English, IDP, the British Council and other reputable sources.
It is possible to take a longer, more comprehensive course or a shorter course, depending on the time you have available. We can also focus on individual skills like Speaking or Reading if you feel you only need to improve in specific areas.
I offer a mock Speaking test for the IELTS test in which I will give you an approximate score based on the official marking criteria.
IELTS and C1 Advanced are challenging tests so I ask that my students complete homework and dedicate time to private study. This includes things like reviewing vocabulary, reading articles online, etc.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

IELTS Teacher Training - IDp - 2023This training focused on understanding the IELTS exam assessment criteria in detail in order to accurately assess student's work in speaking and writing. One certificate was awarded for Writing, another for Speaking.

CELTA - Pass B - The University of Sheffield - 2021120 hour course based on language acquisition and pedagogical theory researched by Cambridge University. The course included 6 hours of assessed individual teaching, as well as collaborative planning, peer observation, shared evaluation and feedback. Received a Pass B (Merit).

Sasha is an amazing teacher. She’s really invested in lessons, leaves detailed feedback after the classes, including comments on your mistakes and the list of new words with explanation, checks difficult cases with dictionaries and grammar books. She’s also a very well-educated person who’s interesting to talk to. I can never get enough of her classes ❤️

Sasha est une excellente prof qui a su m'aider à gagner en confiance, à enrichir mon vocabulaire et mes compétences grammaticales. Sasha est quelqu'un de curieux, qui sait plein de choses sur différents sujets ce qui rend les échanges faciles et fluides. D'autant plus qu'elle adapte les exercices quand je suis en difficulté (quand il faut inventer des phrases, par exemple). J'ai également beaucoup apprécié les petits jeux en début de cours, c'est une façon ludique de se préparer à parler anglais pour le reste de la leçon. Je suis très contente d'être tombée sur Sasha, car elle m'a remotivée dans l'apprentissage de l'anglais et elle m'a démontrée que je m'en sortais mieux que je le croyais.
