I'm an American English tutor with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and a TEFL/TESOL certification. I specialize in helping adults improve conversational fluency, build vocabulary, refine grammar, and speak with greater confidence.
I’m currently based in Luxembourg and have experience teaching students from all over the world, including through volunteer work with refugees. This has taught me how to adapt my teaching style to a wide range of learning needs and cultural backgrounds.
Outside the classroom, I organize events for the American Women’s Club and stay engaged with Democrats Abroad. I believe language learning should be as engaging as a great conversation overعني كمعلّم
Over the past few years, I've helped adult learners develop greater fluency and confidence in English. Many of my students already speak at an intermediate or advanced level, but they want to go further — to expand their vocabulary, refine their grammar, and improve pronunciation.
I believe these three elements — vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation — form the foundation of any effective conversation class. My role as a teacher is to create a space where you can actively practice, make mistakes, and grow — all while keeping lessons engaging, relevant, and tailored to your needs. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I work exclusively with adults (18+), offering one-on-one lessons from pre-intermediate to advanced levels. This allows me the flexibility to choose materials and tools that best match each student’s goals and interests.
Before each lesson, I send a short article or video clip for you to review. During class, we discuss the content in your own words, helping you develop fluency and confidence in expressing complex ideas. Reading aloud gives us the chance to clarify vocabulary, explain grammar in context, and fine-tune pronunciation — gently and consistently.

Bad network. I wish she would be more patient even when she feels frustrated not understanding my English. I'm not sure if she is aware of her facial expression, but It's easy to misunderstand her with her seemingly frustrating facial expression.

Sheila is nice to chat with, although I wish there was no very loud background noise, someone was clearly cooking something and washing the dishes, which was really distracting.
