There are community tutors on italki that are really great conversationalists, but sort of shy away from grammar analysis. And there are tutors that are really great for analyzing grammar, or learning new chunks/phrases/expressions, but sort of shy away from free flowing conversation. Laura is really great at both. Conversations with her are always a lot of fun on their own. But when I want to dive into some grammatical structure that I'm struggling with, she is always willing and super helpful. And she always offers alternative ways of saying things. For me, her classes are a perfect blend of practice, learning, and fun.

Laura is an amazing teacher- patient, knowledgeable, and invested in her student's learning. Would definitely recommend!
