Because of italki policy change in their commission (significantly increased) I will change my prices soon. The policy is implemented on February 1, but I will implement my changes on February 10 (Single 1h: 19 USD)
Teaching is my gift and my passion. My journey to becoming a teacher has been both enriching and rewarding.
I initially started in project management (I have a master degree in Commerce), but after running a scholarship program in the Philippines as a volunteer for a year and spending additional years studying philosophy, I turned to teaching.
I have been an elementary school teacher for more than ten years, with great success.عني كمعلّم
I have a gift for making concepts and rules understandable.
I am a grammar enthusiast! I love grammar, not as a set of rules, but as the underlying structure of a language.
I am friendly and extremely patient: I will explain things in various ways until it clicks.
I am dedicated. If I can't seem to make something clear, I will always look for a better way and do further research.

My lessons are progressive: I believe we make progress, step by step, always building up from what we have learned.
My lessons are tailor made: each student has different needs. I write up a lesson plan and prepare materials specific to my students. However, if you don't have time to tell me ahead what you are looking for, no worries. I can come up with qualitative materials, regardless.

Hélène 선생님은 제가 수업을 요구하는 것이 조금씩 바뀌었었는데
바뀔 때마다 항상 수업을 맞춤으로 잘 진행해주시고 그리고 보통 대화 수업을 하는데 제가 묻지 않아도 먼저 학생들이 헷갈려할 만한 것들에 대해서 미리 가르쳐 주십니다. 한국분이라면 이 선생님 수업들으시는것을 추천드립니다.
highly recommend taking her classes.
Teacher Hélène has always adapted her lessons perfectly every time I requested small changes. We usually have conversation-based lessons, and she teaches me things in advance that students are likely to get confused about, even if I don't ask.

Je connaissais déjà Hélène avant de prendre ma première leçon avec elle. Depuis plusieurs années, elle m'aidait à améliorer mon français sur les pages « communauté » sur italki. Dès que j'ai vu qu'elle avait décidé de devenir officiellement tutrice, je me suis inscrit. Je n'ai pas été déçu. Elle était préparée, patiente, gentille... mais aussi exigeante... et elle m'a mis à l'aise immédiatement.
Je vous recommande d'essayer une leçon avec elle !
