Nami taught my two daughters (11 and 12) every weekday for a month this summer. One was a total beginner, the other knew a tiny bit more from previous Korean classes. We did trial classes with two other instructors prior and I'm so pleased we went with Nami. She is not just a native speaker teaching what she knows, but a teacher by profession who understands *how* to teach a language, even to children. With an appropriate balance of Korean and English explanation, she taught the girls effectively at each of their different levels, assigning daily homework reinforcing phrases from the day's lesson (which she corrected). I often find teachers of kids can become impatient, irritable, not engaging enough, or ineffective because of style or immaturity, but Nami was always kind, engaging, on-time, highly effective, and had a plan for daily lessons. My girls wanted to learn Korean with her and are sad that it's over. That means a lot for kids being "forced" to do Korean!
