Hi! I'm Sandra, from Colombia—a native Spanish speaker—and I love teaching my language and culture. For the past five years, I've worked as a Spanish teacher, guiding students of all levels: from absolute beginners to intermediate and advanced learners looking to improve their fluency, pronunciation, or conversational skills.
In addition to Spanish, I speak English (B2 level) and Portuguese (B1 level), which allows me to explain concepts clearly, and make learning more accessible from the very beginning.
Over the past few years, I've traveled to more than 10 Latin American countries, an experience that allows me to teach you truly authentic culturally relevant, and practical Spanish.عني كمعلّم
I am a dedicated, patient, and passionate professional. My experience has allowed me to tailor my classes to each student, taking into account their pace, goals, and learning style.
I strive to create a trusting, motivating, and respectful environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, practicing, making mistakes again, and improving—because learning a language is a process.

General Spanish (all levels: beginner → advanced)
Real-life conversation and communicative practice
Latin American Spanish (vocabulary, expressions, accents, culture)
Preparation for travel, work, or daily life in Spanish-speaking countries

Communicative and practical approach: we talk from the very first class.
Use of real-life contexts, everyday situations, and authentic examples: real conversations, useful vocabulary, and practical exercises.

One of the best teachers on this platform! The discussions about Colombia are fascinating and in detail. I look forward to our lessons to talk about culture, language, and experiences. The homework is very helpful and useful as well. It's a triple win -- improving Spanish in a comfortable setting, learning about Colombia, and working with an awesome teacher! Sandra is such a great tutor. I highly recommend taking classes with her. I'm at an intermediate level of Spanish and she's helped me improve so much. I can understand Colombian Spanish so much more because of her help! Highly recommended!

Sandra in very patient, articulate and flexible in her teaching style. Not sooo much pressure where others put you on a billboard of not knowing. She keeps it fun and peaceful and it’s comforting to stay engaged!

Me encanta el estilo de enseñanza de Sandra! Ella es una maestra bien preparada y divertida. Después de solo nueve clases, mi capacidad para expresarme en español ha mejorado muchísimo y sus actividades me empujan a aumentar mi habilidad para conversar en una manera natural. Hay un tema nuevo e interesante en cada clase y las lecciones son interactivas así que nunca me aburro. Espero seguir aprendiendo con Sandra y estoy segura de que mejoraré más.

i really recommend sandra, her classes are always super fun and informative and she knows exactly what i need personally to advance and make real tangible progress in spanish. she’s also super patient and creates a comfortable environment to practice speaking. simply the best!!!
