Cristian Jara

I moved to Guatemala last week. I told Cristian today that if it hadn't been for him, I could not have done it. He got me to a level of Spanish that made me confortable knowing I could communicate. I will continue with lessons because I have a long ways to go. But, to get here in just months seems impossible. But here we are.

I had an amazing first class with Cristian. He kept the class very engaging with a variety of activities that kept me very engaged and challenged. It felt like time and effort was put into the preparation of the class which is always appreciated. I would recommend this teacher to anyone wanting to learn Spanish in a fun, meaningful and effective way!

Cristian knows what I need to learn to be successful and he knows how to get me there. I always feel more confident after a lesson.

Cristian is always encouraging and I feel very comfortable practicing conversation with him. He comes up with interesting topics to discuss and keeps the conversation naturally flowing throughout class. I enjoy lessons with him knowing I’ll have the opportunity to put what I’m learning to use and improve my abilities in the process!

Otra vez una clase excepcional! Ya hace un año tengo Cristian como mi profesor de español y la verdad es que he mejorado un montón! Tenemos clases de conversación y gramática. Siempre hace clases creativas y son originales con preguntas y una buena manera de explicar la gramática. Las conversaciones fluyen y me siento cómodo hablando con Cristian. Por todos los objetivos Cristian tiene un plan para mejorar como preparar un examen, preparación para viajar o solo hablando un rato sobre nuestra semana.
