My name is Pius Ntinya, i'm a professional teacher from Tanzania. I have been a teacher for more than fifteen years in schools teaching English, Swahili and French in primary, secondary and high schools. I also have three years experience in online teaching. I can speak Swahili, English and French. I have worked as Education Coordinator in Burundian refugee camp called Nyarugusu found in Kigoma region in Tanzania. I'm a professional translator & interpreter. i'm trained on Early Childhood Care & Development(ECCD). i'm also an author of academic & language e-books especially that of Swahili. I'm also an environmental expert as a have a Master of Science in Climate Change.عني كمعلّم
I'm experienced tutor, i have taught in schools for more than fifteen years and online for three years. I'am also highly skilled in language teaching approaches, techniques, strategies and methods. I teach all kinds of learners from beginners, intermediate and advanced level. I also teach Swahili for those who want to learn for traveling or vacation. I always ask learners to explain what outcome they would need to attain, so I use simple notes, audios, short stories, simple grammar, audio visuals, you tube etc. I help learners practice speaking the targeted language. It's always a joy to have a lesson with Mwalimu Pius. We always have interesting conversations on a mix of pre-planned and impromptu topics. He is very patient and has impeccable Swahili.

I have taken more than 10 lessons with Pius so far, and I have enjoyed them very much. He is very patient and repeats things as many times as necessary. The lessons vary between grammar, vocabulary, and conversation. I have improved my speaking skills. I do recommend him.

Another great lesson with Mwalimu Pius! Lots of interesting conversation points about the gig economy, cryptocurrency, and elder care. There's never a shortage of topics.

Had a great lesson with Mwalimu Pius today. We started off discussing centralized versus decentralized organizations. Then, spent the rest of the time discussing education systems in the US and Tanzania and debating pros and cons. It was a great and interesting session.
