Lucas

I have been taking Latin with Lucas for about a year, and just recently started learning Ancient Greek. In both subjects he has been a fantastic teacher, and having taken lessons with other teachers on italki, I can definitely say he is one of the best. He takes the time to explain key concepts and gives great exercises to ensure mastery. In just two Ancient Greek lessons I already feel significantly more capable in my reading comprehension, and speaking abilities.

Optimum magistrum linguae latinae eum esse puto. In schora latine colloquens, discere possum ut linguam vivam. Gratias ei ago.

Lucas helped me very much. It had been some years since I had spoken Latin with anyone, and so even though I could read, I could not speak much. But working with him and going through Familia Romana helped me quickly improve (in my speaking as well as reading) in a way that was easy and stress-free. He’s very talented, and I would recommend him.

I love reading and discussing Ovid with Lucas, and I look forward to reading many more historical and literary texts in the original! I can say that I reach a flow state during lessons, where we're both so engrossed in the texts and our discussion.
