Nasrin teaches Farsi in a very friendly, professional manner. She is patient and considerate of a student’s interests and needs. She also makes good suggestions to help facilitate the learning process. An architecture major, she brings a unique skill set that she applies to lessons on Iranian culture, history, society and language. She wants to make sure she balances bookish learning with colloquial Farsi, which is very important in order to understand conversation. She has a great sense of humor and our lessons often feel like “language therapy” with lots of laughter too. You will not be bored. We have been supplementing my textbook with poetry, which is something I look forward to and am always amazed by the timelessness of Persian wisdom and eloquence of expression. She is proud to teach language learners about her country and is an effective communicator by also providing context to the lessons’ content. I highly recommend Nasrin!

Great lesson, نسرین is really a professional and dedicated teacher, the lesson was well structured, both the written and the spoken language, just like I wanted, since I don't want to sound like a book, and the colloquial language is always more difficult to learn so it's better to learn it from the beginning. I reviewed several things that I knew, some of my doubts were clarified (like why we say "na" or "ne") and I also learned new words. من درسمان رو خیلی دوست دارم. ممنون رو کارِ خوبِت ، به زودی می بینیم. خسته نباشید
