Hujambo, friends! My name is Mwalimu Levy, and I was born and raised in Kenya. I am a graduate in supply chain management and also offer guidance and counseling to youth at our local church. I enjoy talking about travel, music, languages, and everything in between, and one of my favorite things about iTalki is meeting people of different cultures, backgrounds, and religions from around the world. Please consider booking a lesson with me, and I can help you learn the wonderful Swahili language!

عني كمعلّم

As a good teacher i am able to communicate ideas, thoughts and feelings verbally that will enable my students have an excellent understanding of Swahili as a language and as a culture. i strive at making a good rapport with my students.

my lessons will be conducted on a one on one conversation where their is a friendly interaction between me and the students. i use platforms such as google hangouts, skype, zoom and other platforms to conduct my classes.

Ninapenda mbino yake kwa sababu anaandika maneno mapya na kuyaeleza. Aidha, Levy ni mvumilivu kabisa. Gracias por nuestra clase de hoy amigo, siempre es un placer hablar contigo.

I appreciate the lesson. Teacher Malala is a great teacher; he is patient and knowledgeable. This is my second lesson and so far so good. I think he was a good choice and seems to be a great fit. The lessons are fun and he is flexible with topics and questions. My 3year old is also present for the lessons, which is not a problem for him. This lesson was scheduled for an hour but went a half hour over and he made time. I am excited for my next lesson and feel this will be a great learning experience. Tutaonana Baadaye Mwalimu Malala!
