Hi! My name is Vera. I am Chinese, but I have lived in Canada for 10yrs. Being able to speak two languages makes me understand more the difficulties during learning, so I can help you learn in a more efficient way. I have experience in Hospitality, Early Childhood Education, Social Media Marketing, and the Beauty industry. I like working out, traveling, and outdoor adventures.

I have been teaching in Education for 5 years, also teaching Chinese to all kinds of people of all ages. As a teacher, I enjoy teaching and talking to my students as friends. I have a lot of experience with different industries, so we will have all kinds of fun conversations. I will customize the class according to your level and interests. Really insightful and supportive on what I needed to learn, and what to focus on to get there. As of this review, I'm barely HSK1 and Vera was very helpful in guiding me to what I need to improve. When I get better and more confident, I'm certainly hoping I can book another session with her!

老师 spoke very clearly and at a pace that was easy for me to follow. I’m especially proud of how much I was able to understand—honestly, almost everything!
Speaking has always been the most challenging part for me, and I often feel a bit behind, but 老师 was incredibly patient and supportive.
We discussed really interesting topics, she answered all my questions clearly, and kept the conversation flowing naturally.
I’ll 100% be booking another class with her!
