Grace is a great teacher! She has a focus for each lesson and scaffolds along the way.

Very useful lesson today. We started reading a short story where I read out loud first, then we went through it again sentence by sentence with Grace demonstrating natural rhythm and intonation. She also provided a lot of interesting context about the story and how the main character is often referred to in everyday colloquial language.

Miss Grace is very easy to understand, and because of her help I was able to learn the basics really easily!

Another very informative lesson with Grace about speaking more naturally. She is so helpful in clarifying how to move from isolated words (most of my experience with Chinese) to connected speech. There is no way I could have learned to talk without Grace’s guidance, and I’m making progress that I never thought I would achieve.

We have been working on natural speaking rhythm and intonation. It’s very difficult for me, but Grace has been very patient and helpful. I feel like I’m slowly making progress and am looking forward to getting to a point where I can carry on a conversation instead of just listening.
